Hank Epstein, The Quality Coach! After serving a Fortune 50 corporation for 25 years in responsible management positions in technology, manufacturing, planning and marketing, including a stint as the leader of a pilot re-engineering effort for a $4 billion unit of that corporation, Hank Epstein entered the entrepreneur ranks in 1991 by creating The Quality Coach!®. Together with his life and business partner, Jeanne Gladden, Hank is living his deep commitment to help people connect their personal fulfillment with business success. He believes that the 21st century will offer unlimited possibilities for individuals to derive fulfillment from their work. However, they must learn to let go of their traditional expectations for security in and constancy of the workplace. They must embrace change and, whether self-employed or not, become 100% response-able for adding value to their customers, delivering services at the lowest possible cost, and continuously improving the work processes in which they participate. His coaching practice is dedicated to helping people adopt and operate out of the 100% response-able mind-set with competence and confidence.

Hank was educated as a chemical engineer and was drawn to the disciplines of communication and leadership early in his career as he confronted the challenges of helping ordinary people produce extraordinary results in the application of complex chemical technology to the production of commercial products. He was a trainer, coach, and facilitator, by avocation, in the corporate world long before pursuing this calling full time as an entrepreneur. He delights in bringing his self-acquired, practical knowledge of philosophy, psychology, systems thinking and business to bear in the service of a group or individual grappling with the challenges of adjusting to and thriving in a rapidly changing environment. His coaching sessions bristle with an energy that reflects his passion for supporting the personal growth of his clients and their discovery and experience of their own greatness.

Hank is a certified Situational Leadership© and Coaching Clinic© instructor, a certified Theory of Constraints consultant, and is affiliated with Coach University. He is a member of the International Coaches Federation.

Jeanne Gladden, The Quality Coach!Born to be in business, Jeanne Gladden has been an entrepreneur since 1982. She is a skilled business coach and has developed customized education programs for clients in such diverse areas as: analytical problem solving systems and skills, conflict resolution, customer service systems and skills, and customer-supplier partnerships. She specializes in forming collaborative relationships with her clients to help them achieve their business goals in ways that are personally and professionally fulfilling.

Before starting her own business, Jeanne was a corporate manager with a background that included the design and implementation of innovative human resource practices and systems. In the seventies and early eighties, she spent 12 years in the automotive industry as a human resource professional, working for a foundry known for its leading edge participative management practices. During this time she helped pioneer quality improvement teams when the quality movement in the United States was in its embryonic stages. Her corporate career culminated as Director of Personnel for a rapidly growing division of Jostens.

Jeanne completed her BS in Management at Maryville College of Saint Louis in 1985 but acknowledges that most of her education has come from the "real world" where she has made every mistake imaginable in her business life. Her coaching style is friendly and respectful and her powerful listening skills and extremely pleasant manner build rapport and trust quickly. As the past deliverer of bad news about plant closings and lay-offs, she understands and empathizes with the impact such events can have on people's lives. She is committed to helping business perform so that such news must seldom be delivered and to strengthening the response capabilities of people in the workplace so they can cope effectively and realistically with the evolving social contract between organization and individual.

Jeanne is a certified Coaching Clinic© Instructor, and a member of NAWBO, ASTD, EIA, and the International Coaches Federation. She is affiliated with Coach University.
