Who we are...
The Quality Coach!® was created in 1991 to help people at all levels in the workplace to deal with the human and systems aspects of change. The magnitude and speed of change in our world continues to grow as new technologies are introduced to connect us with ever greater degrees of sophistication. Our approach to helping our clients master change is to stay focused on certain timeless and enduring imperatives.
- The importance of producing understandings in all communication transactions at the level of both content and context.
- The importance of authentic self-expression and nonjudgmental listening in having people feel valued and creating meaning in work and life.
- The importance of systems thinking as a tool for revealing the hidden connections between people and circumstances that are at the root of the problems that leaders and workers are confronting.
- The importance of recognizing the connection between our beliefs and our ability to SEE problems and DEVISE creative responses to those problems.
We coach leaders and workers in organizations of all kinds on their issues related to change. For example, we might:
- Help an owner, entrepreneur, executive, or manager change their leadership style consistent with a shift toward higher worker involvement in improving how the work gets done.
- Help individual contributors work effectively on teams.
- Help an owner or executive articulate a new vision for their organization in a way that people can hear, contribute to, and understand.
- Help the members of a work-group examine how their work is getting done with an eye toward streamlining the process and leaving their customer delighted with the outcome.
While our focus is primarily business and the workplace, we understand from our own entrepreneurial experience and our work with clients that personal issues are often behind an inability to produce desired outcomes at work and so we come prepared to help our clients recognize the impact of these issues and deal effectively with them.
