Leadership Apprenticeship Program
The Quality Coach® Leadership Apprenticeship Program
Today’s fast-moving business landscape calls for organizations and their people to adapt to changing circumstances rapidly, and to always be learning.
The Quality Coach® (TQC) Leadership Apprenticeship program is designed to provide practical on the job skills for those interested in a leadership role or those already working in a leadership position looking to enhance their skill set. This program is in partnership with ECC’s Center for Workforce Development, Missouri Community College Association and the Department of Labor.
The Quality Coach® (TQC) Leadership Apprenticeship is Different!
More than just another training class, the Leadership Apprenticeship includes a variety of design elements that ensure participants use what they learn on the job. These include:
Designed for working adults
Cohort learning environment
Peer learning and networking
Led by certified coaches
Competency-based curriculum
1:1 coaching
Relevant and useful skills/tools
Assigned field work
On-the-job application
The apprenticeship program includes foundational leadership principles critical for effective leadership in today’s environment. The cohort-based curriculum employs a variety of learning methodologies and is designed for working adults. The Leadership Apprenticeship includes classroom learning, 1:1 coaching, and on the job application through assigned field work. The foundational leadership content is both relevant and useful in any workplace and participants document their progress and experience using the skills between sessions. This means participants (and their employers) can start to see results immediately!
This competency-based curriculum provides participants the opportunity to learn and apply critical leadership skills including Authentic Leadership, Communication, Behavioral Styles,
Coaching/Mentoring, Engagement, and Delegation. In addition, TQC’s Coaches adapt the learning experience to meet the unique needs of the participants and their sponsors.
In a final capstone session participants will develop an individual leadership plan to facilitate the continued use of their new competencies, tools, and practices on the job.
Sessions are held at the ECC Business & Industry Center. To start an application for funding and pre-registration please contact us today!
