Skeptic to Believer

Reflecting on my first experience in a "Hot Seat,” I recall my skepticism. I questioned how a group of people, not intimately familiar with my issue, could provide any valuable feedback. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my close proximity to the problem had clouded my perspective. I realized I was making excuses and struggling to see beyond my own limitations.

What unfolded was truly enlightening. The insights I received from others offered fresh perspectives and actionable strategies I hadn’t considered. It was remarkable to witness how individuals, even if they weren’t directly involved with my challenge, could provide meaningful support. Their encouragement created a system of solidarity that helped me navigate my issues more effectively.

This is the essence of our Peer Advisory Groups at The Quality Coach (TQC) Collaborative, designed for executives, HR leaders, women, and middle managers. These groups foster a rich environment for collaboration and problem-solving, enabling participants to gain clarity and direction through collective wisdom. Oh, and for the record, we prefer to call them, “Solution Seats,” instead of hot seats. A little less intimidating but just as helpful.

Now, along with my TQC colleagues facilitate cohorts and mastermind sessions, I have the distinct pleasure of coordinating these transformative experiences for others. The power of peer feedback and support can unlock innovation and drive success in ways that are truly extraordinary. If you're looking to enhance your leadership journey, consider joining our Peer Advisory Groups and experience the support and insights that can propel you forward.
